Sex Rocket is an anomaly in the Tycho Brahe catalogue...originally demoed for a proposed Hi-NRG side project that never eventuated, it was added to the band's live set to great effect, consistently filling the dancefloor. And a vocodered monster was born! This is oldschool Hi-NRG complete with Linndrum cowbells and handclaps, channeling a slamming four on the floor beat from artists such as Man 2 Man (Male Stripper), New Order (Blue Monday), Divine (You Think You're A Man), Dead Or Alive (Spin Me Round Like A Record), Paul Lekakis (Boom Boom Back To My Room), and many others of the same genre. Remixes from Neuropa, Parralox, Psyche, and Dave Foreman (Tankt) each take the song in a different direction, whilst Tycho Brahe's own 'More Cowbell 12 Inch Mix' extends the song for the dancefloor, revealing each intricately programmed layer for lovers of synthy goodness.
