HOW WE GOT HERE After making the decision to leave the circular pop music scene, South African born Nhlanhla 'Siba' Sibanyoni (26) and Stephen Colin (25) answered the call on their lives to convey God's messages to His people through song. Upon discovering through ancient scripture that those who did that in the house of God were elect people from the Tribe of Levi, that gave birth to their band name (1 Chronicles 25). Siba whose been singing and writing for different genres professionally since 2006 made a formidable team with a talented composer and guitarist Steve, who only stumbled into music after a rugby knee injury which dashed his hopes of going pro. From the earliest part of 2008 the two have been songwriting and touring all over South Africa until 2011 when they recorded their debut album 'Rescue 911' in Kansas City, KS USA. Both having missional hearts, they felt Jesus wanted to rescue his people back to himself with this album, and were honored that he wanted to do that through the modern day.
