Formed by original members of 70s Genesis influenced prog rock band Children - Charlie Goodall, Bev Jones and Dave Evans. Rohan gigged in the early 80s with the line up as follows: Charlie Goodall - lead guitar / vocals; Bev Jones - bass guitar; Dave Evans - keyboards; Fran Lock - rhythm guitar; Owen Hughes - drums. Rohan reformed in 1995/96 to record the eponymously named album Rohan with the following line up: Charlie Goodall - guitars / vocals; Bev Jones - bass guitar; Dave Evans - keyboards and Graham 'La' Land - drums. The album received some glowing reviews at it's original release: The Keltic Music Service (Scotland): 'Mil O Fastiau Dau' - a really great piece of Welsh Rock. It has an air of mythology married to hope for the present situation. Strong, driving, insistent. This will get a lot of airplay from me. Definitely takes Welsh music forward, buy it and ride with the Hosts of Rohan for the saving of Middle Earth.'
