Motor City Troubadours are currently supporting the release of their 4th album, Rustbelt Rhapsodies. Completely self-produced at Little Brick House Labs in Redford MI, the recording is an effort to capture the essence of the quartet's live performances and range of influences, adding steel string and electric guitars in addition to the classical acoustic sounds featured on their previous recordings. It includes 6 brand new originals, a studio version of a previously released live track from Motor City/Windy City, a cover of an Arsenio Rodriguez Cuban classic, and a solo guitar piece by each Michael and David. Formerly known as simply The Troubadours, the Detroit-area based group is undertaking an aggressive re-branding as the more distinctive Motor City Troubadours. Keep your eyes and ears open!
