How this recording came about: I woke up one Sunday and found myself impersonating a musical director at Unity Spiritual Center in San Francisco. Nobody said anything, and the next thing I knew, I became the man behind the music... As the Sundays came and went, I would search out and prepare music to match the subject matter of the "talk". I started to run into trouble trying to find perfect fits, and so I began writing tunes that reinforced the presentation. The songs you are listening to were created with that in mind. For this project, I purposely selected tunes with no keyboards, even though I am primarily a keyboard player. I've had more than my fair share of fun playing ukulele for the congregation, I can't help but smile when I do, and smiling is worth a million dollars in my happiness bank.
