When writing songs, I am inspired by many of the worlds situations and people that I know. My walk with Christ started at an early age and is something that I count on day in and day out. I recently reached a point in my life where I could write about everything that has touched my life over the years. Sometimes I was crying while writing; at other times I laughed and saw the world from a lighter side. One track on the CD was inspired by my husband, who kept saying that he wanted a song to make him shout. Another track was inspired by a friend who was having a very tough time with her faith. Yet another track was born of a dear friend's battle with cancer. Jesus On My Side is a world where hope exists.
