'Acoustic Moments' came about when fans were asking for another album from Lynn Stoneking. The first 2 were full-band albums...yet Lynn is awesome as a solo artist, too. Thus came the 'just me & my guitar' album, stripped down. Every song on the album is a song that has special meaning to Lynn. 'Each song that I write or hear is a 'moment'. A song has an amazing way of taking you back to a time, place, or person in your life who had some sort of impact - whether good or bad.' 'COTTONFIELDS' (#1) is a song Lynn's mom taught her growing up. 'JACKSON' (#5) is the song Lynn wrote for her son - Jackson - who was born 8 weeks early and spent 23 days in the NICU. 'WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL' (#6) is a song Lynn gets many requests to sing...as she loves the song herself. In fact, a friend has told her that song on the album is the only song that will calm down her fussy 3 & 1 yr old girls. 'BEN'S SONG' (#9) was written for a boy Lynn met in Dallas, TX named Ben. He had many physical issues that should have limited what he could do in life, but Ben didn't spend time feeling sorry for himself. He knows that one day when he gets to Heaven, his body will be made new again. 'WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD' (#11) is a favorite of Lynn's to end the album. It's a daily reminder that despite all the bad things going on or bad news we hear...we still do live in a wonderful world.
