This CD, subtitled 'The Satirical Songs of Jim Malcolm' was made for everyone who has enjoyed Scots troubadour Jim Malcolm's humor at his live concerts over the past 20 years. Showing Jim's wonderful wit, this is political satire dressed up in fine melodies with the usual smoother-than-butter deadpan delivery. Disaster for Scotland because so many of the characters in these songs are down at heel, plucky losers, but all of them the kind of people you'd want to meet over a beer. And the Scottish accent is unmissable and irresistible. A real treat to the ear and the funny bone.
