This second HCG release represents a collaboration between veteran songwriters Annie Gallup and Peter Gallway, and world-class drummer/percussionist Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Suzanne Vega). Written in Greenwich Village, with drums and percussion recorded at Dreamland in Woodstock, NY and the remainder in their studio in Santa Barbara, CA, Annie sings and plays electric guitar and lap steel. And Peter is featured on vocals, electric guitars, baritone guitar, bass and keyboards. '... We are in the presence of two very fine songwriter here. The writing is all the more powerful for it's subtlety, and the musical settings only enhance the effect... something like the solo work of either Daniel Lanois or Robbie Robertson.' Oliver di Place.
