The band consists of Erwin as lead singer and instrumentalist, and a group of Selkies as the rest of the band. The songs range from traditional to modern (explicit) Selkies are the shape-shifters of Celtic legend. There are many legends about Selkies. They live as seals in the ocean, and as people on the land. They communicate exclusively through music. The big question is, of course: "Did Erwin actually get real Selkies to play musical instruments and sing with him on these songs?" We don't answer that question.
