The songs on this CD came to me in a range of ways. Some are musical favorites. Some were suggested to me by my musical director and arranger Alan K. Choy. Some had a magnetic, 'in the moment,' appeal. In any event, they have all now coalesced into a story arc only vaguely planned at the outset. The story is in five acts that I call: The Innocent, The Dreamer, The Lover, The Mourner,The Philosopher. These themes refer to the way love in it's many aspects advances the consciousness of the individual and deepens meaning in the course of life. Although general, they are meant to be evocative for the listener and, in that spirit, do justice to the subjective variety of each individual life. They are all heart felt messages from me. I call it my 'Love Letter' to the world delivered in my 'pillow talk' crooner style. I hope these songs take you to that timeless place that exists in the heart of every lover!
