Garden of Love is named for a fictional paradise I wish for all unfortunate children in the world. It is a place for happiness for sad, lonely or unhappy kids. It is full of sunshine, beauty, and happiness. The songs in this album are for people I know, many of them kids who've inspired me. The instrumental numbers in the album are "mood" songs for peace and joy. Marie Christine is dedicated to my second sister who went through a lot growing up and with whom I have a strong push pull relationship. Some songs speak of sadness or loss while others of the joy of life. All are imbued with a deep emotion which the musicians who've helped me here have marvelously captured. These artists are fantastic in their ability to translate my requests for music to the actual recordings you hear here. Enjoy and stay close to one another, you are all valuable and cherished.
