ATOMS FOR PEACE are Thom Yorke (RADIOHEAD), Flea (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Nigel Godrich (Radiohead producer), Joey Waronker (BECK, REM, BAT FOR LASHES) and Mauro Refosco (DAVID BYRNE, BEBEL GILBERTO). The band formed to learn to play the Eraser' album and discovered an energetic connection via transforming the music from electronic to live. They continued in the studio and decided to make it a loose, on-going thing - immersed in the area between the two: electronic and live.
